My friend for life
Helping me tread the path
With a gentle smile 

Your encouragement gives me strength 
Your support helps me thrive
My life finds a meaning 
Only with you by my side 

It never did occur to me
How you became an integral part of me
As if you were there 
Since the very beginning 
Walking besides me.

I was lost, unable to see
The sacred beauty of existence 
And the truth lying hidden 
Quietly within my being.

It seems to unfurl now
Letting me feel that something 
Which is beyond everything 
Which is beyond me.
