Stars & I

When I look up at the sky

I see diamonds sparkling and saying hi

Inviting me to visit sometime 

To have a cup of coffee over the timeline 

I smile back and wave at them

Assuring them of meeting in some realm

Tea would work for me I say

They seem to nod an okay

All through the night this conversation goes on

We talk about the galaxies we are from

Our thoughts 💭 strike a chord somewhere in the universe

Reminding us of the oneness we happen to share 

This has been going on for quite sometime now

Stars & I seem to indulge in supernova stories bygone

We share similar interests 

That's how the relationship was built up.

Early morning we bid farewell to each other

And wait for our union past the days glare

That's the fairytale of me and my friends 

Who stay light years away but  close in the vicinity at the same time.
