Memories

When I look up at the sky I see diamonds sparkling and saying hi Inviting me to visit sometime  To have a cup of coffee over the timeline  I smile back and wave at them Assuring them of meeting in some realm Tea would work for me I say They seem to nod an okay All through the night this conversation goes on We talk about the galaxies we are from Our thoughts 💭 strike a chord somewhere in the universe Reminding us of the oneness we happen to share  This has been going on for quite sometime now Stars & I seem to indulge in supernova stories bygone We share similar interests  That's how the relationship was built up. Early morning we bid farewell to each other And wait for our union past the days glare That's the fairytale of me and my friends  Who stay light years away but  close in the vicinity at the same time. Stars & I Friends since the beginning  and beyond the lifeline.

I grew up in this place Full of love and grace There was this big house With courtyards inside  out My grandfather used to listen to radio in the mornings while sipping tea  And read newspaper in both English as well as Hindi Some visitors were a regular entry  To greet the great old man  Who was an epitome of selfless service and discipline mannerly  Summers used to be fun With cool air from coolers And mangoes from our village orchard Tasted better than any other dessert Power cuts at night interrupted our sleep But the terrace arrangement for sleeping was no less than a treat. Afternoons were full of excitement  As they meant meeting our friends on the terrace. Three siblings who lived in the adjacent house  Friends cum family  We all used to shout out loud Evenings brought the music of whistles  As my mom used to cook dinner in the kitchen  Eating together was so much fun  That taste still lingers on Time passed and we grew up L...

एक नन्ही सी गिलहरी  मेरे घर में आती है रोज सुबह आवाज लगाकर मेरा मन बहलाती है मैं हर रोज मूंगफली के दाने और पानी रख देती हूं आंगन में  वो दिनभर चहक चहककर  आती जाती रहती है। एक सुबह लेकर आई संग अपने दो साथी भी साथ क्या पता भाई बहन थे या फिर आई थी मां और बाबा के साथ। तीनों ने मिलकर खाना खाया और साथ में खेली पकड़न पकड़ाई  भाग भागकर उछल कूद कर  घर में  जंगल सी सुगंध अलसायी 

Life seems tough at times Let's be kind Introspection to replace judgement  Thankfulness and care predominant  Look around and see Our fellow beings are longing for the most basic needs Let's not be superfluous in our ways Join hands and help them live with grace Care and support for the fellow travelers  Love and compassion are the basis of nature  Abandonment of grudges  Love gets over all the hurdles A heart full of love is the need of the hour  Empathy needs to spread and shower  Let's join hands Without expecting favours and grands Time is short Needs to be nurtured  Make your presence worthwhile  By being there for one another in every walk of life  Lets help others tread the path well Before it's time to bid farewell Before it's time to bid farewell!!!

Sometimes I feel like running to the woods And embrace the tranquil nature With an open heart  Brimming with love Some other times I wish I to glide in the sky And be encircled by the wind  Soaring high like an eagle Unafaraid and full of life The mountains call me To rest in their lap and witness that pristine beauty Serene and glorified  The sparkling ocean has a story to tell Waiting for me to visit and  unfurl  As if asking me to dive deep inside  Just as I look for the unreached corners of my life The universe is so vast Just like my own self I need to carve the way  Unwind and be myself And be myself!!!

I am greatful for all that you have bestowed on me You are my saviour and all that I happen to be I fall short of words when I begin to express what I feel Your grace alone can help me cross this worldly ocean so deep  Your presence within me is the only permanence I see In this play of life and death going on endlessly My love for you is growing silently  Just like a stream falling through the mountains At it's own pace  In the lap of nature quietly  Words can't tell what I feel for you  I am "me" because of you  You are the one who created me You are the one  I will return to eventually    My gracious guide My sole socour  My eternal existence  The eternity!!!

Sometimes it's all so quiet Like the wilderness spreading across the miles Peaceful afternoons And my dreamy eyes  Thoughts 💭 trying to make their way Into the gallery of my life  Telling me to believe what's bright beyond light  Leaving me utterly intrigued with a subtle surprise. Some little nothings  Illuminate the major part of our lives But we  don't see the magic Until it has gone far past our sight Let's cherish special moments  Unattached but keeping the ties  That's the only way to fathom  Where we all need to arrive Where we all need to arrive 

Change is inevitable  We need to embrace  Without any resistance  With full faith What is in form Must lose it someday It's a change of garb Only a momentary display. Life is transient  Live it like a play Play the roles Unattached, but embued with grace  The arena is full The audience agape Who themselves will enact When it's their time on stage Be vibrant  Before it's too late Be what you want to be Before it's time to go away. The quiet of the noon  Has a lot  to say We just need to listen  With patience and be gay  A little squirrel  comes hoping  In the garden of my house She  parades the entire area Stopping at places she finds safe I always keep nuts for her in the backyard  Gillu comes hastily Making sure nobody is around  She savours  them in a hurry And disappears in the vastness unbound  I keep a tiny water bowl  For Gillu to drink it whole  She comes and takes a few sips And merrily goes around pretty swift This is a tiny tale Of Gillu and l  A naughty noon visitor  Who is more than welcome in my house where I reside.

You are my friend  My friend for life Helping me tread the path With a gentle smile  Your encouragement gives me strength  Your support helps me thrive My life finds a meaning  Only with you by my side  It never did occur to me How you became an integral part of me As if you were there  Since the very beginning  Walking besides me. I was lost, unable to see The sacred beauty of existence  And the truth lying hidden  Quietly within my being. It seems to unfurl now Letting me feel that something  Which is beyond everything  Which is beyond me.

We are all humans Caged in the frame Longing for happiness  Don't know the way Let us help one another  Through this journey of life no more judgements  Let  love be the guide The child in us Doesn't want to grow up As if it remembers  The real goal of life Adulthood stands on the door Be ready to glide Be sure of the path You take on your ride Sometimes I wonder  What lies hidden? Is it real? Or just my dreamy eyes. Wish I could go there Where I actually reside Come with me Be my light  Oh yes! Come with me Be my light!!!

If I can't have you, doesn't mean I can't love you. My feelings for you don't need validation  My love for you can survive rejection. It's actually a strange world with stories written all over. Some are happy,some are sad but ending every story has. So let's live a love story which is far beyond  begining and end. What does it actually mean to love someone? Is it an emotion or just a feeling lingering on? There's a vast difference between reality and illusion. It's up to us to decide what to choose. Life builds up on memories  Of those persisting and a few bygones. Does existence need to be manifested in some form? Or there is something bigger which is still there beyond the horizon? Maa is someone who knows you inside out. The only one who stands by your side no matter what. And continues to love you all through her life. Maa is someone who prays for your well-being. She is the one with a lot of warmth filled inside. And doesn't let any trouble come to your side. Maa is the one , only one who loves you more than her own life. Maa is a blessing in her child's life. She is an epitome of selfless love and sacrifice. Her presence makes her child fill up with self confidence and pride. Maa is someone who can do anything just to see happiness in her child's eyes. Maa isn't just a word but an emotion whose depth can't be measured but felt by her child.

Let's welcome sunshine into our lives. Look at the birds flying high in the sky. Being alive  itself is a reason enough to celebrate. Gratitude builds what can't be built otherwise. Conflicting emotions start a war inside. This existence paves the way for our search of the unknown. Mortals need to understand the truth which lies hidden behind this mortal life. Let's welcome sunshine into our lives.

How to describe the indescribable It's not right to pen down what has not been experienced There's something which needs to be felt That something which forms the connecting link between all of us. We need to fly No cage needed, no fence required. Soar high to never return back. Touch the sky. Stretch the limits. That glow on the horizon reminds the self there's a lot more to come. Why do you cry and let the  years just pass by It's all been here since the time the time came to life. Nothing is lost nothing goes off, there's just a change of attire. Deep inside, the self stays quite. Holding it all with an unattached eternal tie We need to fly

Relationships  We enter this world with a garland of relationships but end up getting entangled in the web of relationships. We make the means our purpose and get distracted from our path which lies ahead to be passed. Soulful conversations remind us of the real motive and put us back on the track to fulfill the very purpose of our existence. Reality is to be looked for and that alone should be the focus. The urge to return back home needs to be strong in order to realise what we really are.

It's very easy to pen down your feelings when there's actually nothing left to feel . Life teaches lessons. In such situations I realize how boundless and unconditional God's love is for everyone. As when we fail to love that's when we realize it's not easy to love. Love is love when it's unconditional and here lies the real meaning.  Eternal love which is free from emotions is what needs to exist and it calls for a great deal of courage and strength on the part of the person practicing it.

I miss you when you are not around. I look for you when you are not around. Its strange how your absence makes me feel lonely  And that's when I realize how much you mean to me. Life is a journey we embark on and then comes the time when we meet the one who is there to traverse the path hand in hand. This solitude has a beautiful way of conveying what the heart knows silently And then comes the acceptance which is beyond words and brings serenity.
